SPRINGFIELD, Va. (June 23, 2016)– Now through the end of the year, The Mason Jar Cookie Company, based in Wellington,Florida, will support military members nationwide through the sale of a limited edition cookie mix. For each Hope For The Warriors Patriot Cookie Mix sold, 20 percent of the wholesale cost will be donated to Hope For The Warriors.

Celebrating 10 years of service, Hope For The Warriors is a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families.

The limited edition cookie mix features the company’s traditional sugar cookie base blended with patriotic red, white and blue candy-coated chocolate with red, white and blue sugar star shapes, all housed in a Mason jar.

“The Mason Jar Cookie Company has worked to support veterans since our inception in 2011,” said Kelsey Sullivan, Director of Marketing for The Mason Jar Cookie Company. “Our co-packer,Mid-Hudson Workshop, employs disabled veterans and remains a cornerstone in our everyday operations. This partnership with Hope For The Warriors is a natural extension of our mission, not only because supporting U.S. veterans is part of our beliefs, but because we are able to reinvigorate our work with Mid-Hudson Workshop through the Hope For The Warriors private label jars.”

“Baking is a pastime that can bring families together,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder, president and CEO of Hope For The Warriors. “At Hope For The Warriors we strive to reconnect military families in hopes of restoring a sense of self and family. We’re excited to receive the funds from this campaign and hope families are able to spend some quality time together while making Hope For The Warriors Patriot Cookies.”
